We Do Screens. Just Screens.
St. Pete Screen Repair Pros exists because pool enclosures are their own trade. The mesh types, the spline systems, the aluminum framing, the way a cage moves in a storm — none of that transfers from windows or roofing. A general handyman with a roll of screen from the hardware store is how you get loose panels that blow out in the next storm.
We repair and rescreen pool enclosures, lanai screens, and patio screen enclosures across St. Petersburg and Pinellas County. Torn panels, broken screen doors, full rescreens, storm damage, mesh upgrades, enclosure cleaning — if it is screen, we do it. If it is not screen, we will tell you who to call instead.
How We Work
- The right mesh for the panel. Standard 18/14 fiberglass for most panels, 20/20 no-see-um where bugs are the problem, pet-resistant where claws are the problem. The mesh matches the job — we do not put one type everywhere out of habit.
- Tight and square. Every panel gets rolled in tight, straight, and even. A screen that looks wavy on day one will not last. We re-do panels that do not pass our own eye test.
- Hardware that survives salt air. Screws, latches, closers, and spline chosen for the Gulf Coast — because cheap hardware is the first thing to fail near the water.
- Written quotes, always. You get a written price before any work starts: what we are doing, which mesh, and the total. No verbal estimates, no surprises on the invoice.
- We clean up. Old mesh, spline, and hardware leave with us. Your pool deck looks the way we found it.
What We Will Not Do
We do not repair window screens — that is a different trade, and we will point you to a window-screen shop. We do not sell you a full rescreen when three panels would do. And we do not invent urgency: if your screens have another year in them, we will say so. Our rescreen vs. repair guide is the same advice we give in person.
